About
Hello, my name is David, and quite simply, I am a regular guy. A regular guy from Atlanta, GA, USA who is merely trying to help people with their financial lives. Whether it be in the way of saving more money, spendling less money or generating extra money, I feel that I have a lifetime of down-to-earth real world experience that I hope many people will find useful.
So, you ask, where do I get my information from? Well, I would venture to say that 99% of it has come strictly from my life experiences. These life experiences led me to try to learn as much as possible about saving money. Let’s just say that over the course of the past 20 years or so I made it from the depths of financial hell to a place where I am now which is fairly comfortable. And more importantly, moving in the right direction. You can read more about this story in my recently published book called “Don’t Be A Mule: A Common Sense Guide to Saving More, Spending Less, and Generating Extra Money in Your life.”
I am combining that with what I think is my desire and ability to teach people things to hopefully be able to improve people’s lives.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of South Florida. After many years in corporate restaurant management, I currently serve as a department manager in the retail industry. I reside with my wife and son outside Atlanta, GA.

I just read an ezine article you wrote about saving money on having your garbage picked. You suggested packing up your daily trash and dropping it off in the bin behind the office. Clever. But in our neck of the woods, and I’m guessing in most places, putting your trash in a Dumpster paid for by someone else would be called theft of services! Not such a great idea.
Hello there
I’m not sure if it was clear in the article, but what I suggested was taking it to the dumpster behind your place of employment, not just any dumpster.
I wouldnever suggest anything that was against the law.
Thanks for commenting
