The whole gift giving thing is to a degree learned behavior - so if we start them out when they're young relating the true meaning of Christmas - and giving reasonable gifts - I think they'll understand. Children spell love T-I-M-E. I have a mix of good and not so good memories for Christmas but I''m glad to have the ones that I have. There are folks who have had it harder than I for sure. As the father of 2 sons I am determined to not lose track of the TIME with them because we only have them for a while. Thanks for sharing a reflection today.
